Announcing an Exciting Opportunity for Australian Road Cycling: Calling All Teams!

ProVelo Super League invites all teams to express their interest in joining the future of Australian Road Cycling.

Our vision is to create an exciting road racing product that can be financially viable, attract new audiences and nurture the growth of cycling in Australia supporting the events, the teams, and the athletes.

Securing road racings future, the ProVelo Super League is committed to fostering the next generation of talent, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region. Our goal is to support both events and teams, prioritising commercial viability alongside delivering high-quality broadcasts featuring new narratives. Through a condensed calendar format, we aim to establish an exhilarating and financially sustainable model for the sport.

The ProVelo Super League tour format includes:

  • All teams arrive Friday morning.
  • Friday –  ‘Teams Preview’ Live streamed event hosted by event commentators discussing series standing and previewing riders to watch, followed by an evening stage 1 criterium ideally centred around a major city or town. 
  • Saturday – a dual stage where possible consisting of either a Time Trial, Criterium and/or Road Race ideally around a circuit.
  • Sunday – A Queen stage Road Race.
  • Sunday afternoon – All teams depart.


All Tours will have the option to run a junior event or Gran Fondo to maximise opportunities.

Likewise, our approach to supporting events involves streamlining operational processes and guaranteeing a start list of elite riders, elevating the quality of competition, and attracting broader audiences. Leveraging the expertise of PSL for high-quality broadcasting and activating social media channels, we ensure widespread engagement and visibility, yielding tangible returns for stakeholders.

Ultimately, our racing series offers a high-calibre competitive platform while enabling riders and teams to pursue their European season ambitions. This balance ensures that our series remains a premier destination for riders while accommodating their professional ambitions.
