ProVelo Super League invites all teams to express their interest in joining the future of Australian Road Cycling.
Our vision is to create an exciting road racing product that can be financially viable, attract new audiences and nurture the growth of cycling in Australia supporting the events, the teams, and the athletes.
Securing road racings future, the ProVelo Super League is committed to fostering the next generation of talent, with a particular focus on the Asia-Pacific region. Our goal is to support both events and teams, prioritising commercial viability alongside delivering high-quality broadcasts featuring new narratives. Through a condensed calendar format, we aim to establish an exhilarating and financially sustainable model for the sport.
The ProVelo Super League tour format includes:
- All teams arrive Friday morning.
- Friday – ‘Teams Preview’ Live streamed event hosted by event commentators discussing series standing and previewing riders to watch, followed by an evening stage 1 criterium ideally centred around a major city or town.
- Saturday – a dual stage where possible consisting of either a Time Trial, Criterium and/or Road Race ideally around a circuit.
- Sunday – A Queen stage Road Race.
- Sunday afternoon – All teams depart.
All Tours will have the option to run a junior event or Gran Fondo to maximise opportunities.
