Our Vision

To establish an elite, Australian based road cycling league with a focus on new audiences, sustainability and  nurturing the growth of road cycling in Australia.

What is the ProVelo Super League?

The PSL is an annual racing league hosted across Australia with teams and athletes competing in a points format launching in 2025.

  • The PSL will feature an elite women’s and men’s division with an approximate number of 30 teams.
  • Invitations are available for wildcard entries and international teams and riders. 
  • In the future, PSL will seek event expansion into new territories, including other States & Territories and the Asia region.
  • The ProVelo Super League is proudly sanctioned by AusCycling.

Launching in 2025, the inaugural ProVelo Super League will take place from January to March.

  • Commencing with five tours and two classics. 
  • The tours will feature a 3 day format, four stage format where possible.
  • The one day classics will feature a women’s race on the Saturday and the men’s race on the Sunday.

The indicative calendar for 2025 is:

Tours

South Australia – January

Victoria – January/February

Tasmania – February

Greater Sydney Region – March

Brisbane & SEQ Region – March 

The official schedule for 2025 will be released in due course.

Melbourne to Warrnambool – February

Grafton to Inverelll – March

Teams

The ProVelo Super League is inviting teams to apply for a licence to compete in the inaugural 2025 season.
