Meridian Bikebug creates opportunities for women to grow and make an impact in cycling by reducing barriers to progression and supporting development at every stage. Our program focuses on the whole person, valuing learning and growth over results alone.

About

Meridian Bikebug is an Australian-registered UCI Women’s Continental Team, founded in 2021 to support emerging Oceanian cycling talent. Representing women cyclists across Australia and New Zealand, the team provides a clear performance pathway from domestic racing to the world stage. The program features a full Australian summer, highlighted by the ProVelo Super League, before transitioning to a European campaign based in Belgium near Ghent—racing major events and developing athletes in the heart of world cycling.

Our Goal

Our goal is to offer a program that enables passionate cyclists to grow and develop. We provide a pathway that can lead towards professional cycling, with an emphasis on personal improvement and shared experiences. Our program includes racing in the ProVelo Super League in Australian and a comprehensive Continental Program in Europe.
