About McCarthy Homes – Queensland Cycling Foundation

The team was formed in Queensland through the Queensland Cycling Foundation. While Queensland consistently produces talented cyclists, many athletes have historically had to look interstate or overseas to access meaningful development opportunities.

Founded with this in mind, the team was created to provide more than just race entries. Our focus is on building well-rounded athletes by offering structured racing programs, professional support, mentorship, and exposure to national-level competition. We aim to develop riders not only as cyclists, but as disciplined, resilient individuals who are prepared for the demands of high-performance sport.

At its core, the McCarthy Homes – QCF Cycling Team exists to keep Queensland talent in Queensland, provide genuine progression pathways, and help riders realise their potential in a supportive and professional environment.
