Just like every typical cyclist, I was a triathlete growing up and eventually made the switch to cycling in my final 2 years of schooling. After graduating, I took 2 years off the bike and did some travelling overseas. Now that I'm back, I'm super excited to be a part of a team that is doing amazing work for the growth of women’s cycling and can support me to achieve my own cycling goals.

Q&A

Who or what inspired you to take up cycling?

after many years competing in triathlons during my high school years, I hit a point where I wanted to quit but didn’t know how to tell my parents as they had just bought me a brand new Enviliv. The guilt over rid me and I told them I was going to focus on cycling instead. This then led to (unexpectedly) falling in love with the sport and eventually my life started revolving around cycling and the rest is history.

What was your first race and where did you finish?

My first competitive race outside of club racing was Sizzling Summer Series in 2021. I went into having no idea how to even warm up properly and zero clue of race tactics. I believe the very first race I was 4 th in Women’s C.

Studying, working or full time cyclist?

Currently completing my Bachelor of Psychology with long term goal of completing masters to become a psychologist. I’m working part time as a support worker and In between balancing all of this I am trying to achieve the dream of making cycling a career

Cycling dream?

To be able to make cycling a career and not just a hobby. To have the opportunity to race in one of the big grand tour races would be the major dream.
