Having taken up road racing over the last year, I'm excited to get to race in a team environment and learn from a talented and experienced group of girls in 2025. I also plan on throwing in a couple of XC mountain bike races to mix things up and take me back to my roots!

Q&A

Who or what inspired you to take up cycling?

I’ve always loved bikes (and things with wheels in general - skateboards, bikes, scooters, roller blades, you name it). My dad was a keen triathlete and is still a keen cyclist - I grew up watching him train and race, with some of the earlier memories including waking up at 5:30 am and watching the Tour de France highlights with him while he rode on the indoor trainer. If it weren’t for him, I don’t think I’d be racing today.

What was your first race and where did you finish?

My first bike race was the Noosa Enduro 60 km mountain bike race. I won my age group, however there wasn’t much competition with only two others in my race!

Studying, working or full time cyclist?

Working full time as an environmental approvals consultant.

Cycling dream?

Participate and compete at the highest level that I can, whilst also enjoying myself and making lots of fond memories along the way.
