Five rising stars from the ProVelo Super League ranks have been selected to represent Australia at the 2025 Junior UCI Road World Championships in Kigali, Rwanda.

AusCycling this week named seven junior athletes in the ARA Australian Cycling Team squad, including ProVelo Billigence U19 classification winner Hannah Gianatti (ARA Skip Capital) who earns her first World Championships call-up following a standout season in the PSL and in Europe.

Joining Gianatti in the women’s team are PSL riders Billigence U19 2nd and 5th place getters Tully Schweitzer (Praties Cycling Team) and Neve Parslow (ARA | Skip Capital) who finished second and fifth U19’s respectively in the inaugural PSL. Tully and Neve demonstrated their strong climbing talents throughout the PSL rounds and also at the Tour du Gévaudan Occitanie femmes – an ideal preparation for the altitude and elevation challenges expected in Kigali.

On the men’s side, Fletcher Medway (Tandem Co Pro Cycling) who finished eighth in the Billigence PSL league U19 classification will join the European campaign. Fellow PSL competitor Alexander Hewes (ARA |Skip Capital) has also been provisionally selected to make his World Championships debut.

“It's wonderful to see our young PSL riders making the leap to the world stage in their junior years,” said ProVelo Super League Co-Founder Matt Wilson.

“This is exactly the depth and capacity we aim to build—developing future champions through elite competition and support.”

The junior time trials will take place in Kigali on September 23, with the junior men’s and women’s road races scheduled for September 26 and 27 respectively.
