ProVelo Super League (PSL) is thrilled to announce SBS as the Presenting Partner of the Women’s PSL division for our inaugural season.

Appointed the Official Broadcast Partner of the ProVelo Super League, SBS has further demonstrated its commitment to this new era for Australian road cycling signing as the major sponsor of the PSL Women’s League.

The SBS Women’s League is shaping as a breakout season for Australian women’s road cycling with a vibrant and competitive field of teams and individual riders committed to season one of the PSL.   

As the Women’s Presenting Partner, SBS will receive naming rights and play a pivotal role in promoting and broadcasting the Women's Division, providing cycling fans & sport fans alike, with unparalleled access to live races, athlete stories and exclusive content.

The ProVelo Super League launches its inaugural season with Round 1 hosted in South Australia as an official event within the Santos Tour Down Under Festival program. The SA Kick It commences January 18 with Stage 1 seeing riders taking on a time trial up the iconic Willunga Hill as a curtain raiser to the Health Partners Stage 2 of the Santos Tour Down Under Women’s race.  Stage 2 will see teams compete in city based twilight criteriums at Victoria Park on Sunday January 19 with road races hosted at The Bend Motorsport Complex closing out Round 1 on Monday, January 20.

About ProVelo Super League:
ProVelo Super League (PSL) is an annual road cycling league hosted across Australia with teams and athletes competing in a points format launching in 2025.  The PSL will feature an elite women’s and men’s division with a target of 30 teams anticipated to compete in Season 1 of the PSL.

The PSL calendar will feature a combination of three day tours and Australia’s 2 classic one day races. Hosted across January to March, events will take place across Australia. ProVelo Super League will act as a valuable pathway for athletes looking to pursue the ‘Road to the World Tour’.  

In partnership with Jayco AlUla and Liv AlUla WorldTour Teams the winners of the Under 23 PSL Divisions will secure their ticket to the WorldTour   

The league is open to international teams with a long-term target of attracting Australasian and Asian teams that can base themselves here for the duration of the competition period. In the medium term, PSL will seek event expansion into new territories including other States & Territories and the Asia region. The ProVelo Super League is proudly sanctioned by AusCycling.
