MEDIA RELEASE: ProVelo Super League is excited to welcome SRAM as the Official Neutral Spares, Groupset Supplier, and Partner until 2027.
Founded with a vision to make cycling more fun, efficient, and faster, SRAM’s dedication to enhancing the cycling experience aligns nicely with PSL’s mission not only to create pathways to the World Tour but also to enrich and support the cycling community.
ProVelo Super League is excited to welcome SRAM as the Official Neutral Spares, Groupset Supplier, and Partner until 2027.
SRAM began in 1987 when founder Stan Day, inspired by his triathlon training, sought a more efficient way to shift gears and collaborated with engineer Sam Patterson to create the innovative Grip Shift. After debuting at the Long Beach bike show in 1988, this handlebar twist shifter quickly gained traction, eventually adapted for mountain biking in 1991, solidifying SRAM’s role in the cycling industry. SRAM expanded from a single product into a leading bike component supplier, known for pioneering technology and performance.
SRAM will play a key role in the ProVelo Super League events, providing high-quality neutral support across all events in the league.
"We’re thrilled to welcome SRAM as a partner of the PSL," said Matt Wilson, co-founder of the ProVelo Super League "Their reputation for producing top-tier cycling components and their commitment to provide neutral service support will be invaluable for event, teams and riders alike.”
David Evans Director, SRAM Australia stated,“As a global leader in bicycle components, SRAM is excited to partner with the ProVelo Super League, a new race league set to transform road cycling in Australia. The league promises to create a fresh, thrilling experience that benefits both athletes and spectators, while also paving the way for riders to compete on the world stage.”
“SRAM, alongside our distributor PSI Cycling, will provide on-course neutral support and is proud to be the official groupset supplier for the league.”
