DETOUR King Of The Mountain and SumUp Queen Of The Mountain Classification

With less than a month until the inaugural Mountain Classification winners are crowned for the ProVelo Super League 2025, the current standings reveal the top climbers of the season - riders excelling on climbing stages but missing out on overall GC glory.
In the SumUp Men’s League, Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32) leads the DETOUR King Of The Mountain, as expected, with his main U23 rival Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing) in third. Just behind them are two standout climbers who’ve flown under the radar: Ronan Teese (Individual) in second, who took the Willunga Hill time trial win at the SA Kick-It, and Finlay Walsh (CCACHE X BODYWRAP), impressing with strong climbing performances in both the SA Kick-It and Tour of Tasmania.
In the SBS Women’s League, Talia Appleton (Praties Cycling Team) and Lauren Bates (Individual) are tied for the top spot for SumUp Queen Of The Mountain after each winning the mountains classification at the SA Kick-It and Tour of Tasmania. Further down the standings, Sophia Sammons is also one to watch, having proven her ability to excel on challenging climbs while riding in support of her team.
As we approach the final stages, these climbers, both at the top and just behind, are sure to deliver exciting performances, making the Mountains Classification one to watch for the rest of the season!
