The inaugural ProVelo Super League proved itself as a true pathway to the World Tour for 21-year-old Alli Anderson - a shining example blending grit, talent, and humility on her journey to the pro ranks.

The ProVelo Super League was created with one bold promise: to be a genuine pathway to the World Tour. In its very first season, that promise has already been fulfilled - with more than ten riders expected to step up to the next level. Among them, 21-year-old Alli Anderson.

Anderson’s performances across the six-round league turned heads for all the right reasons. She won the Tour of Tasmania time trial, sprinted to overall victory at the Harbour City GP, and showed consistency and grit to claim the general classification at the Q Tour. By season’s end, she was third overall in the PSL standings - and importantly, she put herself firmly on the radar of the pro ranks.

That radar lit up fast. Her PSL campaign helped earn her selection for the Australian U23 team for the 2025 World Road Cycling Championships and a professional contract with Liv AlUla Jayco Continental, a development squad renowned for turning potential into WorldTour talent. For the league, it’s validation. For Anderson, it’s the dream she’s worked toward since she first switched from mountain biking in Alice Springs to the road.

“Becoming a professional has always been my dream,” she says. “To have the chance to grow in a team that truly cares about its riders is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I can’t wait to take this next step together.”

What makes Anderson’s story even more compelling is her resilience. Just a year ago she was sidelined with glandular fever, losing two crucial months of racing. She returned in 2025 with a sharper focus and a calm determination — the kind that carried her through tough stages and tight finishes. Away from the bike, she has enjoyed working as a swimming teacher, balancing her ambitions with the realities of everyday life.

That balance, and that perspective, makes her more than just another name on the results sheet. She’s a reminder that cycling is as much about character as it is about watts.

Now, with a pro contract signed and Olympic ambitions in her sights, Anderson represents everything the ProVelo Super League set out to achieve: creating a stage where young talent can shine, and a bridge to the biggest races in the world.

The league promised a pathway, and Alli Anderson is one of the riders who has walked it - and for her, it’s only the beginning.

From local grit to global glory, the PSL is where it begins. Applications are now open to join the league in 2026!
