PSL Billigence U19 Champion Connor Wright Signs with Tudor Pro Cycling

The South West Cycling Club rider has enjoyed a breakout season, claiming the Billigence U19 classification in the PSL while establishing himself as one of Australia’s leading junior riders. His 2026 season has also delivered the Australian Junior National Time Trial title, an overall victory at the UCI Junior Nations Cup in Slovakia and an exceptional mountain bike campaign featuring six wins from seven starts, including victories across all three UCI MTB XCO Junior Series rounds.

Wright’s progression follows two seasons racing in the ProVelo Super League, where he first made his mark as a junior before taking the next step in 2026. His success across disciplines has now earned him selection for the Australian team at the UCI Junior Road World Championships in Montreal this September.

Reflecting on the move to Tudor, Wright said, "I believe it’s the perfect next step for my career. This season had its ups and downs, but I’ve really enjoyed all of it and picked up some great wins on both the road and mountain bike.”

Tudor’s Head of Development, Jens Voet, highlighted Wright’s versatility across road and mountain biking as a key factor behind the signing, with the young rider having already spent time training with the squad earlier this year.

For the PSL, Wright’s move to Tudor is another exciting example of the pathway from domestic racing to the international stage. From PSL start lines to a WorldTour development program, his progression is a reflection of the opportunities available to Australia’s emerging riders.
