Elite cyclists from across Australia and abroad will descend on South East Queensland this weekend as the Q Tour returns for three days of elite road cycling, culminating in the Queen Stage Road Race through the Moreton Bay Hinterland that will decide the champions of the Hertz ProVelo Super League.

The Q Tour, the final round of Australia’s premier road cycling league, will run from March 20–22, bringing world class racing to the City of Moreton Bay region while showcasing the landscapes and communities that make the region a standout cycling destination.

The tour begins with a fast road race at Lakeside Park within the City of Moreton Bay; it then heads to a tactical criterium in Brisbane before heading north into the Moreton Bay Hinterland for the decisive final stage.

Just 30 minutes from Brisbane, the Moreton Bay Hinterland offers a spectacular racing backdrop with rolling hills, quiet country roads and sweeping views across farmland and forest. The challenging climb toward Mount Mee will test the riders’ strength, tactics and determination as they fight for the final honours of the season.

The stage will not only deliver thrilling racing but also showcase the natural beauty and experiences of the region to audiences across Australia and internationally broadcast live and on demand on SBS, SKY NZ and live streamed to the rest of world.

Hertz PSL, Co-Founder, Aaron Flanagan shared his excitement as the league prepares for an epic conclusion.

“Season 2 has provided incredible racing in both the SBS Women’s and Let’s Go Motorhomes Men’s divisions. We’ve witnessed 30% uplift in team participation in this 2nd season with racing hosted across five states all coming to a fitting conclusion in the City of Moreton Bay this weekend."

"The league is really excited to conclude the season in such a great destination for cycling and thanks the City of Moreton Bay for the continued support.”

A strong contingent of local riders will line up on the start line this weekend, including a number of teams and competitors representing the Balmoral Cycling Club.

Chloe Moon, a local and Women’s Cycling Development Initiative (WCDI) U19 rider said “We are very excited to have the Q Tour hosted this weekend in the Moreton Bay region and to showcase some great hometown racing!"

"I think it’s such a great opportunity for the next generation of local riders to be inspired by the Hertz ProVelo Super League, encouraging them to dream big and get involved in the sport we all know and love.”

Maddison Taylor, WCDI team manager says, “We are proud to showcase the Moreton Bay region at Q Tour this weekend."

"As locals, we regularly visit and train on these roads, so to be able to share them with the rest of the Hertz PSL peloton is very special. Moreton Bay has some spectacular riding, from beautiful coastal vistas to the stunning hinterland climbs - there is something on offer for everyone!”

The Moreton Bay hinterland is emerging as a destination for authentic regional experiences, with a growing Agri-tourism scene including wineries, farm stays and paddock-to-plate dining. Visitors can explore places like Ocean View Estates Winery, while scenic drives, rainforest walks, country markets and events such as the renowned Woodford Folk Festival showcase the region’s unique character.

The Hertz PSL is proud to host the Q Tour in the Moreton Bay region and share the beauty of the hinterland with a national and international audience.

With the season’s biggest prize on the line, the Queen’s Stage promises an unforgettable conclusion as the final kilometres toward Mount Mee determine the champions of the 2026 Hertz ProVelo Super League.
