SBS Women’s League 

Talia Appleton of the Praties Cycling Team entered today’s race as the General Classification leader, holding a narrow 2-second lead after an impressive performance in yesterday’s uphill time trial. Appleton was quick to take action early on, securing bonus seconds to solidify her advantage in the overall classification. She extends her lead to a slight yet promising 5 seconds over Katelyn Nicholson of the Butterfields Racing Team, but with the road race at the Bend Motorsport Park today, her GC ambitions remain in the balance.

Appleton’s teammate Sophie Marr rode a patient and smart race, with a clear focus on the final sprint. Her Praties teammates delivered her perfectly at the front coming into the last corner. She was challenged only by Odette Lynch from the Butterfields Ziptrak team, but it wasn’t enough and Marr’s strong sprint propelled her to a comfortable stage win.

SumUp Men's League

Team Brennan dominated today’s race, staying at the front of the peloton throughout while working towards the stage win with Blake Agnoletto, as well as the GC lead with Jack Ward. CCACHE BODYWRAP, with sprint favorite Graeme Frislie, worked together with Team Brennan and kept things under control, ensuring no breakaway gained more than 10 seconds.

Jack Ward took crucial bonus seconds, moving up to 4 seconds ahead of Ronan Teese in the GC standings following a stellar couple of lead-outs from his team. 

Heading into the final sprint, Blake Agnoletto, who had not seen the front of the race until now while preserving his sprint, took the win in a close battle with Graeme Frislie, securing a win in front of a home crowd. Team Brennan will now focus on defending Jack Ward’s GC lead in today's road race in The Bend.
