Today, the ProVelo Super League (PSL) is pleased to announce the signing of SumUp, one of the fastest growing global fintechs, as the Naming Rights Partner of the ProVelo Super League Men's Division, sponsor of the PSL Women’s Division Queen of the Mountain Jersey and the league’s Official Payments Partner.

Founded in Europe in 2012, SumUp services over 4 million merchants  worldwide and in late 2023 launched in Australia bringing their leading edge technology and efficient point of sale solutions to service the growth needs of Australian businesses.

This major partnership announcement is a further boost as positive momentum continues to build as the PSL prepares to host its inaugural event, the all new SA Kick It in South Australia from January 18 - 20 within the Santos Tour Down Under festival program.

Matt Wilson Co-Founder of the league said that the securing of SumUp as the major sponsor of the Men’s Division was an important milestone for the PSL “We are humbled to be launching our first season with the support of a global organisation the scale of SumUp. Their alignment to our values and commitment to supporting Australian businesses is very much in line with our vision and goals to supporting the creation of a vibrant road cycling pathway for our elite talent.”   Wilson added “We also want to thank SumUp for sponsoring the PSL Women’s Queen of the Mountain Jersey.   With the Women’s Division Major Partner already signed and to be announced in the coming days, SumUp were keen to further invest to support the Women’s league through this sponsorship which is amazing.”

SumUp Australia Managing Director Malcolm Areington: “We are thrilled to partner with the ProVelo Super League as the Naming Rights Partner for the Men’s Division and the Official Payments Partner of the league. At SumUp, we are passionate about supporting communities and empowering small businesses. The PSL’s commitment to fostering talent and building a vibrant cycling ecosystem resonates deeply with our mission. We are also proud to support the Women’s Queen of the Mountain Jersey, reflecting our belief in equal opportunities and shared success. We look forward to seeing Australia’s cycling talent thrive as we embark on this exciting journey together.”

The PSL encourages the community to support the inaugural 2025 PSL season partners. If you own a business, such as a bike shop or coffee shop, we invite you to connect with the SumUp team. SumUp is committed to providing affordable, easy-to-use payment solutions for businesses of all sizes.
