SumUp Men’s League: Thrilling Battle Awaits as Ward and Marriage Set Up for Final Round Showdown at the Q-Tour

Throughout the SumUp Men’s league, two contenders have emerged as the favourites to take out the League, and the all important Jayco AlUla stagiaire contract with it.
Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32) sits atop the leaderboard on 381 points, and leads his main rival Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing) on 338 points). Team Brennan’s Brendon Davids sits in third overall.
With Ward missing the Round 5 Grafton to Inverell classic, the door opened for Marriage to close the gap after he started on the back foot in Round 1 where he raced in the Tour Down Under for the national team, missing out on the points available in Adelaide.
Marriage seized the opportunity, taking second in Inverell, and closed the gap to Ward significantly and setting up a thrilling duel in the final round. Ward and Marriage have been closely matched throughout the League so far, and with only 43 points separating the two, we are set for a very close battle in Brisbane.
