Stage 2 of the Tour of Tasmania featured two tough ascents of Gunns Plains, with Oliver Bledin of Team Brennan launching a late solo attack to win the Let’s Go Men’s League stage and move into the overall race lead. In the SBS Women’s League, Sophia Sammons of Team Redcat attacked on the final climb to claim a solo stage victory ahead of Caitlin Nicholson and Keira Bennett of Butterfield ZipTrack Racing.
