Levi Hone from Team Brennan grew up in Echuca playing the usual Aussie sports — footy and cricket — but cycling entered the picture thanks to a bit of sibling encouragement. His sister convinced him to sign up for every sport at school so he could score a few extra days out of class, and that’s where his love for cycling really began. From there, the passion only grew.
For Levi, success in racing comes down to the people around you. Having a strong team and riders who believe in you, along with staff who are committed to helping you perform, makes all the difference. When that support is there, it’s up to the rider to do the work — stay committed, be fit enough, and keep putting yourself at the front of the race.
And of course, Levi wants to win. But in the ProVelo Super League there are plenty of riders lining up with the same goal. For him, it’s about giving it everything and doing his best every time he rolls up to the start line.
