Stage 3 of SA Kick It delivered two thrilling road races in extreme heat at Bend Motorsport Park.
In the SBS Women’s League, Odette Lynch (Butterfields Ziptrak) turned the race on its head, claiming the stage win and overall victory after a perfectly executed sprint, with the final standings decided by fractions of a second. The Let’s Go Motorhomes Men’s race saw a bold late breakaway hold off the bunch, with Oliver Sims taking a gutsy stage win, while Conor Leahy defended his lead to secure the overall victory on home roads. The ProVelo Super League now heads to Round 2 at the iconic Melbourne to Warrnambool and Women’s Warrnambool Classic in three weeks’ time.
