After a breakout first season, Sophie Marr - a rising PSL talent - has spent the year training and racing across Europe, taking the next step toward a massive 2026.

After a standout debut season in the ProVelo Super League, Sophie Marr has spent the past year taking her development to the next level. Straight after QTour, Sophie travelled to Europe to immerse herself in some of the world’s most competitive cycling environments. Based between Belgium and Girona, she has been training, racing and learning directly from the communities that have shaped many of the sport’s top athletes.

Sophie has already completed multiple race days overseas and has had the opportunity to meet the staff and management she will work with next year. The experience has given her valuable insight into European race craft, positioning, and the patience required to adapt to a new style of racing. Riders and coaches across Europe have told her that there comes a moment when everything simply clicks. Sophie is embracing that advice and focusing on learning how to move more confidently through the peloton while building her tactical awareness.

It has been a year of progress, personal growth and preparation for what promises to be a huge season ahead. Sophie’s commitment and determination reflect the strength of the PSL pathway and highlight the exciting future that awaits her on the world stage.
