Sky New Zealand secures exclusive NZ rights to broadcast the 2026 Provelo Super League Season.

The ProVelo Super League (PSL) is delighted to announce its first broadcast partnership in New Zealand, with Sky New Zealand to broadcast the 2026 ProVelo Super League Season live and on-demand to cycling and all sports fans in NZ.

Following a successful inaugural season in 2025, the PSL is excited to expand its reach and coverage to audiences across the Tasman for the first time.

The league validated its ‘Road to the World Tour” positioning in its first season with 321 athletes representing 14 nationalities racing across the six rounds; with more than a dozen PSL riders securing World Tour connected opportunities for 2026 from the inaugural season.

The PSL season is hosted across the Australian summer, featuring six rounds across five states including a combination of 3-day tours and two one-day classics that are respected as gruelling point to point races.

PSL Co-Founder Matt Wilson welcomed Sky New Zealand “The league is really excited to announce this broadcast partnership with Sky New Zealand.   We know the world is watching the PSL to identify the future stars of world cycling and it’s great that we can offer comprehensive coverage with Sky New Zealand.  Like many sports, Australian and New Zealand cycling share a lot in common and enjoy the same rivalry on the roads that exists in other sports.   Season one saw strong participation from NZ teams and wild card riders and we are very committed to growing the league beyond our shores and welcoming increased participation from New Zealand Teams and riders.”

“It is fantastic that New Zealand cycling fans are going to be able to enjoy our racing product.  We’ve really focused on driving innovation in the racing product to engage the cycling fan base through our broadcasts and it’s also fantastic that sponsors and supporters of New Zealand participants are going to be able to cheer their teams on from home also” added Wilson.

Adam Crothers, Sky’s Head of Content Partnerships, said: “We’re thrilled to bring the ProVelo Super League to Sky for the first time, giving Kiwi fans access to one of the most innovative and fast-paced cycling competitions in the world. Cycling has a proud tradition on Sky, and this partnership builds on our commitment to showcase the very best of the sport. We recently renewed our 25-year relationship with the Amaury Sport Organisation, ensuring New Zealanders can enjoy iconic events like the Tour de France, La Vuelta, and the Women’s World Tours. Adding the PSL to our line-up means even more world-class cycling for fans to enjoy – live and on demand.”

The 2026 ProVelo Super League calendar is now live, with the season commencing on the 24th January 2026 in Adelaide and concluding in Queensland on the 22nd March, where the league winners will be crowned.
