Season 2 of the ProVelo Super League is back and there is a lot of excitement as we head into the season opener. Here’s what you need to know ahead of Round 1 in Adelaide:

The Course

The three stages running from Saturday to Monday are a flat 6km individual time trial around Victoria Park, the crowd pleaser Victoria Park Criterium on Sunday night, and the deceptively challenging wind magnet that is the Bend Motorsport Park road race on Monday.

With mostly flat stages facing the riders this year in Adelaide we look towards the strong time trialists, sprinters and classics type riders to shape the SA Kick It.

Let's Go Motorhomes Men’s League

Team Brennan_ come in with a stacked roster, led by defending champion Brendon Davids alongside new signing and second place overall last year Tynan Shannon. They bring incredible depth and come in as the strong favourites on their home turf.

CCACHE X BODYWRAP will no doubt pose a large threat with their sprint and classics specialist Kurt Eather, who is backed up by some of the standout performers of 2025. Both CCACHE and Brennan bring strong rosters and we expect to see a big showdown between these two heaving hitting squads.

Be sure to keep an eye out for Leighton Cook (Falcons Pedal Mafia Racing) who is coming off a phenomenal performance in the nationals road race, as well as Craig Wiggins (RCA BikesOnline) and Josh Duffy (VIS p/b K.O.M.P) who bring quick legs and experience to the table.

SBS Women’s League

The women’s field is wide open this year with talent spread across a number of teams, which should provide some very entertaining racing. Butterfields Ziptrak Racing bring fast finishers Odette Lynch and Sophie Edwards who we expect to perform well in the time trial before turning the screws on stages 2 and 3.

Meridian Bikebug and NSTRMO X CCACHE have each scooped up some of the top performers from the ARA Skip Capital team as they move into the U23 category. Expect to see Amelie Sanders (Meridian Bikebug) and Anna Dubier (NSTRMO X CCACHE) finding the front this weekend.

Sophia Sammons (Team Redcat) was a standout performer at nationals with her win in the U23 time trial. She will have her work cut out for her on such a short course, but a strong performance here could set her up for a high GC placing, setting the foundation for a tilt at the overall PSL title.

You can catch all the action of the 2026 ProVelo Super League season in-person, or enjoy expanded broadcast coverage live and on demand on SBS in Australia, Sky New Zealand in NZ with all broadcast stages live stream to the rest of the world on www.provelosuperleague.com and Facebook.
