The Let's Go Motorhomes Men’s ITT drew a deep field eager to make an early statement in the 2026 ProVelo Super League. Leighton Cook (Falcons Pedal Mafia) set a blistering benchmark that held firm against several favourites, before Olympic gold medallist Conor Leahy (Team Brennan_) delivered a dominant final ride, averaging over 50km/h to claim an emphatic victory.

Blistering heat greeted the riders for the opening stage of the SA Kick It for a 6km individual time trial around the iconic Victoria Park. The riders completed 3 laps of a 2km circuit that included a number of long straights and sharp corners, allowing riders to settle into a rhythm and lay down the power.

Many riders lined up for the men's event keen to stamp their authority on the opening round of the 2026 ProVelo Super League. Leighton Cook (Falcons Pedal Mafia), fresh off his fourth place in the elite men's road race at nationals, blasted out from the middle of the starting order, with many wondering if his time could be beaten. He managed to hold steady while a number of pre-race favourites, including Julian Baudry (VIS p/b K.O.M.P) came within a second of his time, but no-one was able to get over the top until the final starter of the day Conor Leahy (Team Brennan_) took to the track. Olympic gold medallist Leahy started fast and finished even faster, coming home with an average speed of over 50kmh on the road bike to take an emphatic win in front of an excited crowd.
