PSL17's p/b Maillot Jaune Club

In the U17 women's Ava Gidget Rodgers (X-Speed Australia CC) set a high bar as the first rider of the day, sitting in the hot seat for most of the race before Siena Goulding (Ipswich CC) stepped over the top with a gutsy ride in the sweltering conditions. Goulding looks the goods, until the final rider of the day Ava Robbins (Balmoral CC) came storming home with an 11 second to second placed Goulding.

The men's also saw hot competition from the outset with Jett Stokes (Randwick Botany CC) setting the benchmark, covering the 6km course in a time of 8:16. He was in the hot seat for only a short while before the young Tasmanian Sid Natera (Hobart Wheelers) managed the heat perfectly and set a blistering time. The final rider to start Vince Bell (Balmoral CC) put forward a good challenge, but it wasn't enough to unseat Natera, and he settled for a valiant second place.
