Fast and aggressive racing in the heat. The U17 women came down to a field sprint, with Ava Robbins charging late to take the win and seal a top-and-tailed weekend. The men’s race was on from the start, with attacks flying before Bryn McDonnell powered past in the final sprint to claim victory in front of a lively Adelaide crowd.

The U17 women had an aggressive start, with numerous attacks around the fast corners. No-one was able to get the separation they needed to stay away and it came down to a field sprint. Siena Goulding took things up early, but it was stage 1 winner Ava Robbins who burst out of the peloton to take an emphatic win, sealing a top and tailed weekend for the Queenslander.

The men's also saw an aggressive race from the outset with Sebastian Chalhoub the constant aggressor. Race leader Sid Natera was constantly vigilant, watching the moves and following anyone he saw as a threat. Coming into the final sprint, Natera led things out into the final corner only to watch Bryn Mcdonnell fly past to take the victory in front of an excited crowd.
