Heading into the final round, Praties are in a commanding position, occupying the top two spots in the SBS Women’s League standings. Sophie Marr leads with 496 points, closely followed by her teammate Talia Appleton on 423 points. The pair hold a solid lead over their closest rival, Alli Anderson (342 points) of the Butterfields Ziptrak Racing team.

As the final round of the Q-Tour approaches, both Marr and Appleton have opportunities to claim the title. Marr has proven herself to be incredibly versatile, excelling on nearly any terrain, while Appleton, a strong climber, can seize any opportunity that comes her way.

Having options is key, and it remains to be seen how things will unfold on the road. We have already seen that expectations heading into an event can differ from how things unfold. In the Round 4 Harbour City GP it was Marr who was expected to extend her lead, however it was Appleton who broke away from the field in a final-stage move, closing the gap to her teammate.

With four stages remaining and teams balancing ambitions for both stage wins and the overall classification, anything can happen. We’re eager to see how the dynamic at the top plays out.
