Tour of Tasmania | Stage 3 | SumUp Men's League

Olympic champion Oliver Bleddyn (Team Brennan p/b TP32) was the red-hot favorite heading into the 4.3km time trial, hoping to draw upon his Olympic gold medal-winning performance in the Team Pursuit at the Paris Olympics.
Early times held strong until Bleddyn came through at a blistering 47km/h on his road bike to post a time of 5 minutes and 29 seconds, blowing the previous riders out of the water. This time remained unbeaten, with Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing) taking second and Blake Agnoletto (Team Brennan p/b TP32) in third.
Hamish McKenzie (Tasmanian Institute of Sport) leads the general classification, ahead of Zac Marriage. Marriage currently sits 20 seconds ahead of his main GC rival, Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32), as they head into tomorrow’s decisive final stage.
