Round 4 of the ProVelo Super League is set to ignite Sydney this Friday evening with the Harbour City GP! Let’s dive into the current standings in the SumUp Men’s League.

The fourth round of the ProVelo Super League has seen some changes to the course, with the West Head Time Trial and Akuna Bay Road Race substituted for the Pheasant Wood Road Race. Spanning three stages from Friday to Sunday, the three circuits provide fast, flowing courses and will likely favour the sprinters.

SumUp Men’s League

In the hunt for Harbour City GP glory, the CCACHE X BODYWRAP team present with the most options. Cameron Scott, John Carter and Kurt Eather are three of the fastest sprinters in the League and will be a force to be reckoned with this weekend.

Other fast finishers to watch out for include Olli Jirovec (ARA Skip Capital), Craig Wiggins (Cycling Development Foundation) and Rohan Haydon-Smith (Cobra9 X Leigh Surveyors) who could all challenge for stage wins.

In the road to the World Tour, Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32) holds a solid lead over his main rival Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing). Expect to see a fierce battle for the bonus seconds on offer for intermediate sprints (3, 2, and 1 seconds) as well as both Ward and Marriage mixing it up in the finish, seeking more bonus seconds (10, 6 and 4 seconds) to secure a high GC placing and crucial League overall points.
