The men’s race was eagerly anticipated, with many keeping a close eye on the performance of League leader Jack Ward (Team Brennan p/b TP32) and his main rival for the ProVelo Super League overall title Zac Marriage (Butterfields Ziptrak Racing)
Marriage posted an incredibly fast time of 11:08, averaging over 46km/h on the rolling course, ahead of Brennan’s Tristan Saunders, 12 seconds behind, and olympic champion Conor Leahy (CCACHE X BODYWRAP) in third.
