Oliver Sims of Cobra9 X Leigh Surveyors began his cycling journey on the mountain bike, introduced to the sport by his dad.
He made the transition to road racing in his second year of U17s, quickly finding his rhythm in the bunch. A natural climber, Oliver thrives in tough, hilly races — the harder the course, the more it suits him. That said, he sees flat races as just as valuable. It’s the competitive nature of cycling that drives him most. Oliver relishes the challenge, constantly pushing himself to improve and striving to be better every time he lines up.
